Singer, actor and hard rock icon Meat Loaf came thundering into the popular consciousness in the early 70s to make his mark on mainstream America, firstly as a Broadway actor, following successful stints in Hair and As You Like It, plus an unforgettable cameo in the cult smash film The Rocky Horror Picture Show. At the end of 1974 he released his debut Bat Out Of Hell, one of the highest selling records of all time.
